Enclosed is the information for our reunion to be held in Newport, Rhode Island, September 22 to 26 of 2oo4.

Uniform of the day - - -whatever is comfortable for you.

Pages 2, 3 and 4: These pages detail all the activities and meals, along with prices, that will be offered during our reunion. Use these as a guide to determine what you and your guest will partake in.

Enclosure #1: Information sheet on the Best Western, Mainstay Inn, (401-849-9880) at Newport, Rhode Island, where we will be staying. It is your responsibility to make your own reservations. Room rate is $133.28, PER NIGHT. This total includes all applicable taxes (12%). Make sure you tell them you are with the HARWOOD group.

Enclosure #2: Information booklet on Battleship Cove, one of our tours scheduled for Saturday.

Enclosure #3: This enclosure must be filled out, monies added, and returned, with your check, to the address on the bottom of the sheet. It must arrive no later than August 10^th, 2004. Please do not be late; we MUST have totals for the meals and tours for all activities. Most importantly, we must have an alphabetic list to give to the Naval Station, Newport, of all who are going on the base for the activities scheduled. Security is very tight and the Navy requirements are very strict, so we cannot vary from their needs if we want to get on the base and have a good time.

For those arriving by plane, shuttle service IS NOT PROVIDED by the motel. The shuttle company running from the airport to the Mainstay is COZY TRANSPORTATION SERVICES. The cost is $20.00 per passenger each way. Travel time is roughly 45 minutes. Telephone number is 800-846-1502, or in Rhode Island 846-1500. Tickets can be purchased at the Ground Transportation desk located in the baggage area. The departure time is varied so contact the company for the closest one to your arrival.
